Is he waiting for me to do something?? ahhh, i\'m so lost.?

long story short. i like this guy in one of my classes. He gave me his number one day on facebook. then, texted me and we talked. We ended up talking a little more (like two more days for an hour or two) and eventually he took me to the movies. Afterwards he texted me and told me he had a good time and i told him i did too. It\'s been three weeks and in our class things have been awkward. we rarely text anymore, if we do it\'s because i text him. and we barely talk in class (we barely did before the date anyways). He still stares at me all the time though. LIke, he\'ll do something to show off and then look at me to see if i saw or something and he\'ll just stare. He\'s a lot shyer around me than other girls which is weird because he\'s not shy, he\'s like a \"bad boy\" type and i\'m like \"good girl\" and i\'m shy around him because i like him, but when we went out i opened up. but see, he\'ll talk to everyone else fine, but it seems like he\'s sort of avoiding me. He was in front of me waiting to go inside today and he just turned around and stared at me for a while, then i said \"hi\" cause it was awkward and then he asked me what\'s up and we started talking about how cold it was. But, in the hallway afterwards i was walking with my friends and he looked back and saw us and then turned quickly back around and kept walking. I dunno, it\'s really weird. I don\'t know if he hates me or if he\'s nervous and waiting to see if i like him too? I\'m thinking about asking him whether or not he wants to get together this weekend for a little while, but i\'m nervous he doesn\'t like me. The other week he went out with another girl... to the movies... and he danced with her at prom which i didn\'t go to. This girl and i are both juniors and he\'s a senior and already 18. Why would he still be staring at me if he went out with another girl? He seemed really genuine around me, but then again... i could be getting played.
